I have been in the business of personal development and career services since the late 1980s. From teaching languages to adult students to building resumes and letters of application for my clients, I grew into using methods of personal development with the objective for my customers to bring out their best selves and really shine in their business and personal environment.
The ability to coach people and help them find pragmatic and sound solutions for all kinds of problems in personal and business life is what drives me. I could talk for hours about business success, motivation, meditation, language, my own life, personal development, sports and why God plays an important role in all this.
After losing my own business due to inundation, my professional goal is to build a successful business using all of my skills in order to best give advice to other people in order for them to improve their CVs and other application documents (including photos and videos) and build resilience when and where needed and to help companies develop goal-oriented actions in coaching sessions. HR, sales, marketing, leadership and general management specialists are the focus of my expertise.
I was born in 1965 and lost 3 and a half fingers of my right hand when I was five years old. Nevertheless, I am right-handed, have beautiful handwriting, an IQ of 153 and have a great sense of humour. I used to be a goal-scoring soccer player, team captain as well as a world class swimmer. I speak German, English and Spanish fluently, as well as French and Italian. I completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and then earned a diploma in business administration, English and Spanish at the JLU Justus-Liebig-University in Gießen, Germany.
In international companies, I worked as a team-oriented business leader and used CRM methods, optimisation, visualisation and rule engines, as well as AI tools, to increase my success in convincing business partners of my ideas, services and products. From 2003 to 2005, I completed an executive MBA program, and as a follow-up to my sales career, I ran my own photo studio and coaching business for 15 years in Germany and have successfully worked with celebrities as well as global player companies. Apart from my business success, I won 7 gold medals during my career as an international German swim champion and qualified for the World Championships in 1990.
My background as an internationally acclaimed swimmer and my success in closing a global contract with a leading telecom provider are significant achievements that can be leveraged as unique selling points (USPs) for my coaching business.
Achievement in closing a global contract with a leading telecom provider as a testament to my business acumen and negotiation skills. This real-world success can be a powerful example of my ability to navigate complex situations and achieve results.
International achievements in swimming and business have given me cross-cultural competence. This can be a valuable asset when coaching clients from diverse backgrounds or those involved in global business ventures. I am a coach who understands the importance of setting and reaching ambitious goals, drawing from my personal experiences. This can be a unique offering for clients seeking goal-oriented coaching.
Ability to adapt to different environments and continually learn and grow, both as an athlete and a professional. This can inspire clients to embrace change and personal growth.
My global contract achievement has expanded my network and can provide valuable networking opportunities for my coaching clients, potentially connecting them to influential contacts in the business world.
Using my personal story of success in swimming and business helps to inspire and motivate clients. Sharing anecdotes and lessons learned from my journey to success will resonate with and encourage my clients.
Incorporating these achievements into my coaching brand and marketing materials can help me stand out in the coaching industry and attract clients who are looking for a coach with a unique blend of athletic and business expertise. My ability to draw parallels between my experiences and their goals can make my coaching services particularly appealing to those seeking guidance in achieving their own personal and professional milestones.
Further, my personal story of overcoming a significant handicap, such as losing three and a half fingers at the age of five, is a compelling and inspirational aspect of my life that can greatly resonate with clients and be a unique selling point (USP) for my coaching business. Here are some ways in which I can reflect on this experience to enhance my coaching:
By incorporating my experience of overcoming a significant handicap into my coaching practice, I can create a coaching brand that is not only inspirational but also highly relatable and supportive of clients' personal and professional growth. My unique journey can serve as a powerful reminder that resilience, determination, and a positive mindset can lead to remarkable achievements and personal well-being.
